On Thursday night, Janet Jackson’s State of the World tour kicked off in Lafayette, Louisiana and the 51-year-old mother of one reminded everyone EXACTLY who she is.

For a brief moment before she took the stage, a video condemning white supremacy, domestic terrorism, and fascism played for the crowd.
